So they used the public cafe to help them get planning and are now going to close it due to bullshit “security concerns”. Were these concerns not there when they applied for planning? What possible security breaches could there be from a cafe. Hopefully the council refuses – sick of companies bullshitting in their planning applications.
The beautiful old Tropical Fruit Warehouse, with some kind of nasty prosthetic built onto the top of it? Of course this should be a public cafe, a haven of beauty on the quays.
Are they worried that the “feral youth” will be in terrorising people? Surely having lots of people using it is the best way to keep the bowseys out.
