Alligator pear (alligatorpäron) is what the Swedish used to call avocados

1. Banana used to be “bjúgaldin” in icelandic. “Sausage fruit”

2. I mean it’s shaped like a pear, and the skin is leathery and textured like some reptile… pretty much a fitting name

   Edit: Also, „avocados“ is derived from the word „testicles“. Not really a better name.
