  2. I wonder if it’s to do with cross contamination in factories. For dairy allergies, at least, I’m noticing less available dairy-free items in the free from range, but more vegan products stating they’re made in factories which pose a risk for cross contamination. But if people just read the big words that say “VEGAN” and “100% plant based!”, and not the tiny writing at the back, they won’t know their products may contain dairy.

    Otherwise, my theory is covid. It’s screwed up our immune systems, it make sense that could also apply to allergic reactions and IG Levels. And you don’t know you’re allergic to something until you have an allergic response.
