Hey guys! Found a seagull on my step who’s just lying there. They’ve been there for half an hour now and hasn’t moved. They don’t seem scared when I get close to them. Are they injured? Who do I call in the Dublin area?
It looks like fledgling, probably having a rest. Its parents might be around nearby. It should move on after awhile.
4 year old calls them burglars… so be careful

He’s fine. He’s a fledgling (note the speckled grey colouring designed to camouflage them on beaches and cliffs) who has been thrown out of the nest by his mam and still isn’t confident he can actually fly. Leave him be. He’ll be flying around in 48 hours. His parents will be keeping an eye on him and come down to feed him.
You’re not going to bw on a boat any time soon are you?
