Ask any fucking mechanic anything about any BMW made after 2000 and the first thing they will say is “stay the hell away from those nightmares”. They are literally the worst manufacturer of vehicles for failures that exist, or at least, bottom 3 last time I checked. They are up there with Land Rover for engineering failures.
Reeks of acquisitions not knowing fucking anything about what they were acquiring… just like most other companies sadly… And they have killed people.
Really wish we had corporate negligence as a criminal offence in this country.
EDIT: Wonder how much brib- I mean bonus they got for getting this contract with BMW?

They would have had several reminders about a recall and getting it booked in. They just ignored them
