Why does Malta not have any proper beach clubs like in Greece (islands etc) or Corsica like other islands? The only one that come close is Cafe del Mar but it’s not really on the beach and doesn’t really blend in with the scenery. I’m talking about beach clubs that’ll be a restaurant for example but have events every night and then like singing and DJ nights, or 80s vibes etc. I just feel like it’s a shame sometimes the only night life is in Paceville or the city when Malta is such a beautiful island with so much potential. The pictures are the kind of vibes I’m talking about.

Because it’s Malta, not Tiki-theme-park-America.
Suposedly we have special laws etc about businesses monopolising the coast and beaches, because we have such a small amount of beach/coast relative to the amount of people. Obviously this doesn’t get followed in practice, there are a few v controvetial beaches where hotels etc will (v illegally) kick you off. But from what I understand, as a result they try to not have things look so “perminant” on the beach, just sun beds etc which they can pick up and move them away when a period of controversy starts.
But honestly, beach club type things are an absolute inconvenience for everyone who isn’t forking out the cash to use 1 for a place like malta where the beaches are already so packed etc.
Hello. Clayton??
Because are already too small , and mostly taken up by deckchairs. Don’t come here putting more brilliant ideas in developers’ heads pls.
Clayton … Please !
No beach clubs? What are:
Surfside,
Medasia playa,
Singita,
Beachhaven,
Cafe del mar,
Tortuga beach,
Palm beach,
Mambos beach club,
Paradise bay lido etc??
Because we are just the worst, is that what you want to hear? 😂
I think beaches abroad have the luxury of space and close proximity to each other so they rarely experience the numbers ghadira does.. Last thing we need right now though is more public spaces being taken up by bars
Idk I just got here
Privatising beaches will be the final nail in the coffin imo. It’ll be like back in the 70s but with corporate greed instead of the British.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/TpxULY4ywGJWsaHMA?g_st=ic idk if you’ve been to Singita Beach but it has the Botox and Bacardi vibes you’re looking for.
We have enough stuff already. Leave the beaches alone. It’s not like we have miles on each beach.
It has no ‘real’ beaches
Thank god no. Considering how things work in malta, today it will be a small beach club like this, the next day it will be a mega 20 floor hotel and private access to the beach
Bro never used google
It’s a small country with few sandy beaches, and a it’s already a struggle as it is trying to keep the beaches as public as possible. Imagine turning them into a nightclub. No thank you. You can go to Corsica.
