Economy Minister Robert Habeck, who just enforced the sudden closure of the ultra-cheap, clean, and reliable 12% of Germany’s electricity supply, demands the government subsidize electricity with debt or lose all industry.
Economy Minister Habeck, of the Green Party, needs the cooperation of Finance Minster Lindner of the liberal FDP party, to accept taking on more debt to subsidize power consumption.
Habeck says better times are coming, that this is a temporary “transition stage”.
