The ‘mighty’ Russian navy, living in fear of an opponent with no navy whatsoever.
👍
They better be. So many targets in one place
I mean if the propaganda over nordstream is true about some savvy Ukrainians doing it, what’s to say some get ahold of navy drones and tries something spicy 🤔
What a juicy target
Russia showed no respect for Ukranian schools or hospitals, so this parade is fair game – do as much damage as is possible Ukraine!
Aw, poor widdle ruzzians afraid of drones… my heart bleeds.
Hit ’em, boys!
>The Russians are preparing to hold a Main Naval Parade, which will be held on July 30, 2023 in St. Petersburg, while the ships are equipped with anti-drone equipment.
you know what also had anti-drone equipment on it? The Kerch Bridge….
I have to think that having a parade of ships during a war is a really, really stupid idea. This looks like a possible future posting to r/whatcouldgowrong
Now they mention that lots of the ships have jamming electronics to keep GPS or external commands from getting to drones. HOWEVER if a drone is running without external control (ie embedded AI with terrain recognition, etc) then those ships may become nice targets. Of course, they probably thought of this, but like they say “There’s a counter-countermeasure to every countermeasure”.
