All I know is that he was a volunteer soldier in the Polish-Soviet War. During the war, he was shot in the face, but he survived (I assume this photo was taken before he was shot, since the bullet wound isn’t visible). What is the meaning of this booklet? Is it related to his injury? Or did all soldiers receive something like this? Does the cross with “1930” mean it was issued in that year? (I’m confused by this because that was long after the war ended).
