planning to ride through austria and this seems to be a common thing:

bike paths only on one side of the road. signs not indicating it’s meant to be two-way. yet the bicycle symbol on the path is “correctly” rotated when the bike path is on the left side, does it mean you’re expected to ride there even if it goes in the opposite direction of the car traffic? its just confusing

    Seriously though, i would not think too much about the intended use, just use it as you see fit. In this case, i would probably just use the path in either direction.
