Why on earth is Slovenia more “eastern” than Czechia?
I would say that the countries in red are both South and West Europe. It’d be very strange to not count Spain or Portugal as western Europe. Same for the countries marked North Europe.
And yes. Greece is Western Europe in my eyes, despite being quite far east. That’s because these terms are more political than Geographical. Western Europe is the countries that belonged to the Western sphere of influence during the cold war. Eastern Europe are the countries thst were under USSR influence. The only exception being East Germany, for obvious reasons.

As a Brit it’s pretty much how I see it too. Only correction would be czech republic as more eastern than western
