“Conservative voices are already gearing up for a campaign citing concerns about an attack on gender and marriage.”
How about removing those sections, and replacing them with nothing?
Ask that question in the referendum. If it passes great, if it doesn’t the next government keeps working on new wording.
It’s not like we’re routinely holding people to the meaning of these sections, or making policy on their basis.
