What amazes me in Ireland is that the bbc wannabe rte did such a good job of “terrorism is bad, mkay” and generally being so unbelievably pro the UK that a massive proportion of Irish people still have no idea the level of pure awfulness the English got upto in Northern Ireland and that the emergence of the pIRA wasn’t exactly because people were stuck for something to do up there.
The Stephens enquiry in the UK makes for shocking reading with the UK state involved in helping loyalist paramilitaries in at least 70% of nationalist murders.
