I have recently started to work in a big brewery company in the area of quality analysis (I test beer quality all day long).
I got offered another position (with a mentorship) with a big pharmaceutical company, to learn and work with vaccines.
I intend to move to Berlin with my kid in 2-3 years.
My question are:
1- Which industry, beverage or pharma, would offer better long-term prospects in Berlin? Which industry do you think I could find more opportunities to grow and flourish?
2- Considering that I don’t speak German (yet), which industry do you believe would be more open to hiring non-German-speaking staff?
3- Which industry pays better? I would greatly appreciate your insights on the average salary range for a scientist specializing in quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), instrumentation, and microbiology in the food/ beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Thank you in advance for your input. Have a great wk ahead!
