  1. I’ve noticed a growing support for Russia and its propaganda in Portugal, what’s up with that?

  2. This is probably an error, not an editorial choice. Even Putin hasn’t made the claim he is the rightful president of Ukraine.

  3. Pay to play. You want to be the only news source reporting from Moscow. Here are kneepads.

  4. More chance of winning the lottery. Wonder who the data overlay programmer is. Wagner is looking for new mine clearance runners

  5. It’s a mistake obviously …probably the same person put Zelensky as president of Russia…yuck! Portuguese are >90% pro-Ukraine.

  6. Maybe just show this to him, let him think he won, and call all his orcs back for ViCtOrY pArAdE. By the time those backward idiots figure out they’ve been tricked, propaganda will have changed the entire story anyway.

  7. Just heard someone high profile say that Portuguese is an abomination of a language and sounds like someone having a perpetual stroke.

    Now.

    Cue this…

  8. 99.9999999% likely just a simple, *literal* clerical error made by an intern that has no idea where Ukraine is on a map and not some concentrated heinous decision lol

  9. That’s because they assume Russia is a rebellious breakaway province of Ukraine, obviously.

  10. As a portuguese and spanish speaker, i get irrationally annoyed at Ukraina being Ukrania and Algeria being Argelia.

Ukraina literally means “the land, the nation” where as Ukrania means nothing.

AlJezair (the arabic name of Algeria ) means the islands as Al is a definite article in Arabic. AR is not and Argelia means nothing.

Considering how many spanish words start with Al from arabic orgin, it makes no sense. And the same with Ukraina. Nothing prevents them from saying it correctly.
