I’m interested in everything related to european elections, and I’d like to know if anyone can explain to me the current political situation in Iceland and how it impacts the numbers you can see in the graph above.

  1. General dissatisfaction with the government, particularly among left wing voters who were opposed to the left-greens joining a right wing coalition, has led to a collapse in the governing parties’ following.

    The SDA also has a new chairperson who people like.

    E: the progressive party’s numbers from the election were also anomalously high to begin with, they spiked just before the election due to a outrageously successful ad campaign that ironically appealed to voter’s apathy
