I don’t know how a marketing person can think that making food more expensive as a marketing gag during a time of inflation where poor people are already struggling to afford groceries is a great idea.
It’s tonedeaf and stupid and will do nothing to make people think about the consequences of climate change in a productive way.
If they really want to donate money to that cause, why not sell the products at the same price and donate the difference from *their own* money instead of forcing their customers to “donate”.
