Hi, I’ll be buying something expensive for the first time in [finn.no](https://finn.no), I made an ad and the seller contacted me, He suggested me sending the money through Vipps, My question is, is this normal and is it safe? The person has like 10 reviews, all very positive, but sending money through vipps… Seems weird not using the official [finn.no](https://finn.no) website or is it just me?

  1. I have exclusively paid through vipps whenever I bought something on finn (always in person though)

  2. By sending through vipps there is a bigger chance to get scammed as they can stop the transaction

  3. I use vipps for everything. It’s instant transfer and you have to log in with bank-Id to use it, so you’ll know the identity of the person receiving the money. It’s owned by DNB. Of course, you shouldn’t pay for something before you receive it.
