Ukrainian State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Kostyantyn Vashchenko:
“We have reached an agreement, the center will be established in the near future. We are moving forward and it is important for us to create our own base for drones in Ukraine. This joint project will form the basis of our systematic work.
Special thanks to BAYKAR for increasing the strength of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the fight against Russian aggression.
I am not sure how this could be a wise/safe thing to do until the war is over? A huge capital investment into constructing a known drone center is just begging to be targeted by every cruise missile russia can muster.
I guess they still have some Bayraktar’s left then? don’t hear about them much anymore
