it’s getting closer than we thought. Keep at it, and the orcs will drown because they can’t swim for shit!
Nice. But I’m afraid razzia will be able to repair this quickly. Should destroy the bridge itself.
Looks like an easy fix they need to hit it in the middle.
The article suggests the photo doesn’t show all of the damage, and the aerial view photo suggests the missile was highly accurate and at the base of one end.
Per the article, these sort of strikes really reduce the ability to resupply ammo and other items.
But, I wonder what the strategy is here. Do you hit the base of the bridge because the land makes it easier to hit with splash if missing the target? Do they strike this right before a push to ensure no resupplying?
There has to be some reason they do not just hit the middle of bridge, no?
I’m no expert in any of this so it’s why I’m asking 🙂
the hit is apparently severe. from what is going around
A lot of people are saying it’ll be easy to repair, but to know that you have to know what’s under it and we can’t see that here. If this is just on some ground then year, rail repair is not that hard, but if this is on the section help up by girders and the girders are fucked up then it’s a much harder job.
Just found a video from Radio Svoboda/Radio Liberty/Free Europe, when searching what будка обходчика could really mean.
6 hours old and also covers the news about the Chonhar/Syvash bridge.
Audio is in this weird East-Ukrainian dialect. But the auto-generated English subtitles are relatively good this time IMHO.
