Almost every time I go to Europe it’s the fall to winter. Beautiful time. Less tourists, hang out with friends and family. great weather
Don’t worry, with Europe’s population decline and less money in our pockets due to inflation and stuff, the amount of tourists should decrease. Venice might be lost to the sea before that change is significantly noticeable, though.

I’m very surprised. /s
As someone who lives in a small city that is inundated with tourists all year round: it’s the noise all night long and the parking mess they create that bothers me significantly.
There’s at least 1 simple solution to this: don’t allow foreign visitors to park in the city above-ground. We have the biggest underground car park of the country, it’s significantly more affordable, and yet it sits at 10-20% capacity all month because every tourist wants to park his car 20m from their hotel or B&B.
The other issue I can live with I think. It’s mainly British men who stumble around at 3-4am yelling and screaming.
