In connection with the confirmed damage to the Chongar railway bridge, I consider it appropriate to recall the importance of this connection for Russian military logistics.

“In connection with the confirmed damage to the Chongar railway bridge, I consider it appropriate to recall the importance of this connection for Russian military logistics.
The railroads that Russians can use to supply the entire southern front are a connection from Armiansk towards Kherson and from Dzhankoi towards Melitopil. There are no other working railways (the railway connection from the direction of Donetsk to Volnovakha does not function).
The railway from the Armiansk to Kherson is within the reach of HIMARS and therefore cannot be used effectively. Until now, the only railway road, on which the entire southern front relied, was connection between Chongar to Melitopol. But it was damaged recently and this route is not functional yet.
If it will be possible to ensure that Russians will not be able to restore this railway line, then Russian forces on the southern front would no longer be able to rely on railroad supplies.”
the ‘tweet – X’ has a map to view.
Well we all know what’s next, just when. Give em hell boys!
apparently according to crimean partisans the kerch- pivdenna railway station has been mined, traffic has been suspended over the kerch bridge, “Crimean partisans reported that the Kerch-Pivdenna railway station has been mined. Traffic over the Crimean bridge has been suspended”
I hope those invaders are sweating about this now.
This fucking bridge should have been obliterated on February 24, 2022.
But, better late than never.
Things are shaping up nicely.
The guy makes it sound like a big deal and I’m sure its destruction does throw a wrench in the Ruzzian plans to an extent.
If indeed it’s the only meaningful way to efficiently supply the southern front (since the Ruzzians are so reliant on railroads to move things around and are yet to invent such space tech as wooden pallets and forklifts) the logistical nightmare will be the thing that forces the Ruzzians to give up some land instead of the ongoing counteroffensive.
I imagine it’ll be a consistent target from now on. It’ll be in range of SDBs when they come.
Puts Russia in a real bad spot as Bakhmut sees continued success and pressure on the south is as high as ever.
Russian bridge went blyat
Beside causing shortages, it will force Russia to increase traffic from their established munitions sites. Increased traffic that will be easier to track back to their sources and hopefully eliminated
expect loads of Kremlin shit suckers to get out of the wood work about this, and the Kerch bridge
russians have always been lax on logistics. It’s just not their strong point. It’s good to see Ukraine is helping them out. (that is, out of Ukraine)
It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving group of people.
One thing that I haven’t seen mentioned much is that there’s another Rasputitsa, or mud season, coming up in a few weeks. Generally this would be more problematic for the side on offense, but Russia is much more exposed logistically. They very much depend on their train system, and are terrible at “last mile” delivery. If they are forced to switch to trucks at the same time as trucks stop working well, it could be catastrophic (for Russia).
Or I’m hoping hard.
Ammo dumps galore, Kerch bridge and now this! 🇺🇦 is playing an absolute blinder in terms of kicking the crap out of Russian logistics!
russian logistics, Go Fuck Yourself
Storm Shadow goes brrrrrrrrr
