I have an option to do this hike this week and I’m not sure if I should – https://ut.no/turforslag/1112154450/tursti-til-svelgabreen-srspissen-av-folgefonna-fra-bladalen-kvinnherad

I’m an average hiker, have appropriate clothing/shoes but I’m not very sure how challenging this hike is going to be.

On the same website the Pulpit rock is ranked the same and I found that hike quite easy. However Kjergbolten is also in the same category but it was more challenging for me than I expected even though I competed it (took me about 6 hours). Where does the hike to Svelgabreen falls here?

Would it be really cold up there? Do I need any specialized equipment? Anything else to lookout for?

Are there toilets at the car park or on the trail? If not – what do you do in that case (have a funny stomach)?

Thank you.
