I am here to kindly request some guidance on this:
Should I be worried about the condition of my electrical box system and thermoacumulator?
Can state bodies assist in such matters and what’s the best action to take for ensuring safety?
Is it possible to replace the thermoacumulator if we buy a new one and how can we find people to install it?
I just moved to Oslo three days ago for work, and have found myself in a predicament. I’m living in an apartment where the electrical box system looks really old, and it seems as if it has never been properly maintained. There are several loose wires strewn about, a significant amount of duct tape used within the system, and our electricity bill has inexplicably increased. Sometimes, switches even turn off for no apparent reason.
My colleagues have informed me that our landlord is a bit of a shark, so I’m trying to understand how serious these issues might be, and whether I need to take action. I’m worried about my safety and I’m not sure if this is something to be concerned about, given my limited knowledge on such technical matters.
On top of this, we’re having issues with our thermoacumulator. I’m not sure of its condition, but I’d like to know if it’s possible for us to replace it, perhaps buying a new one, and how we can find people to install it.
Are there any state-wise solutions that could help me with these problems? What’s the best action to take to ensure everything is safe? I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance from those more knowledgeable on these matters. Thanks in advance!
TL;DR: Moved to Oslo recently, found potential electrical issues in the apartment and issues with the thermoacumulator. Seeking advice on next steps and possible state-wise solutions.
