I wrote a post , a few days ago, where I was explaining how the (then) stricter measures would prevent me from travelling, on the 27th from Catania to Athens. Then I was able to move my flight on the 31st (since I will have to take a PCR before flying) . Then Ryanair cancelled my return flight on the 10th, and I had to re-book for the 7th. At this point my vacation would be reduced to just 6 days. Now I read that I will have to do a PCR on the 2nd and 4th day of my visit and I need a PCR on the 5th because of re-entering Italy (on the 7th). Also I read that all the Xmas ceremonies will be cancelled. At this point, you know what? Fuck it, I’ll just stay home. It’s not worth. Not trying to blame anyone here, just venting a bit. I am so tired of this bullshit. I hope everyone stay safe and I send you guys all my love. I miss Greece that I consider my second home.
If you are curious about my previous posts here they are:

Note: I read about the PCR mandate from here https://www.kathimerini.gr/society/561643912/maska-pantoy-akyronontai-oi-dimosies-eortastikes-ekdiloseis-ola-ta-nea-metra/
“Οι επισκέπτες που εισέρχονται στην Ελλάδα πέραν των ήδη υφιστάμενων προβλέψεων (PCR 72 ή Rapid 24 ωρών) θα υποχρεούνται με ισχυρή σύσταση να επαναλάβουν το τεστ την 2η και την 4η ημέρα από την είσοδό τους στη χώρα.”
I don’t understand though the sense. Is it mandatory to do a PCR on the 2nd and 4th day or it’s just a ‘recommendation’ ? And is the PCR at my own expenses or not?

As I can understand it is just a “strong suggestion”. And yes you pay for it.
