By the way, I complained with this supermarket and I was told that I could request that (where possible, boxes are used). I did another order and the photos above, are what happened. So, I feel ignored. I’m looking at other supermarkets now.
Probably to avoid it you have to do your shopping on your own. I guess they pre packed the bananas and then put them again in another bag to keep veggies separated to other products. Eg you don’t want to put strawberries loose in the bag. If they get squeezed they would damage other products. So it’s to avoid such problems probably.
Also most of the bags you can use again for grey garbage or the smaller clear ones for organic waste. Problem is that supermarket sometimes put the sticker in such stupid place, that you can’t remove it and destroy the bag.
