People need to understand that the ones who are bending the ear of our representatives, and one of the richest people in the country on trans rights, are clearly just against the appearance of trans people in public.
You might think that because they’re so obviously bigoted that any reasonable person will ignore them. Well unfortunately there are a lot of unreasonable MPs and billionaires.
I saw this all kicking off on social media and it’s just absolutely insane.
A) Men can get mastectomies.
B) There is nothing that states this is a trans person, one way or the other.
It’s literally a highly stylised figure with stylised scars on their chest.
How it’s created outrage is beyond me, but that’s TERFs.
is that what all the fuss is about?
I’m already avoiding the place on the grounds of it being so expensive.
Can the GC crowd not just pretend that this is a woman who’s had a double mastectomy due to cancer?
Oh wait, that doesn’t allow them to get their hate on. Never mind, ignore me.
I hate their coffee already though 🤮, revolting stuff and over priced.
Cool picture though of someone after a double mastectomy.
Huh, almost like it was never about women’s safety, single sex spaces, or sports.
They’re against the existence of transgender people altogether.
Getting into a lather about cartoons, advertising and frothy coffee, even Poe’s law is eating itself.
The pretence of “concern” “over women’s rights” has been dropped, it’s a drive to remove trans people from public life entirely.
The Americans have been doing it for a while with the Dylan Mulvaney thing which was literally just a single can with a picture of her printed for a promotion on her channel.
Then Rosalie o’duffield normalized it here with the bullshit where she freaked out about seeing a trans woman interviewed in a news report about water bills, ending with members of parliament calling this member of the public a slur and demanding her kids be taken away during a parliamentary session.
Now this, and the press won’t even acknowledge the absurdity of it (outside of pinknews) , it’s all “oh it’s a controversy over the trans debate, reasonable opinions on all sides”
There’s one group wants a minority gone from public participation in any way shape or form and another who are that minority group, it’s not a issue you can two sides like that.
Hmm so the people who swear they aren’t transphobic and just concerned about ‘safety’ in fact want the existence of trans people erased and boycott any product or brand which includes a trans person or drawing of one?
