In a matching thread I’ve said that this should not have taken 3 years for such and obvious offense – removing MPs takes a long time and a lot of effort, they know that, and that they can therefore push the rules. We should have better.
This will be an interesting litmus test for the SNP. I would expect the financial scandal and Sturgeon’s retirement having an effect, but how much the party’s reputation the new leadership has been able to recover?
If they lose the seat, my guess is the GE will be bad for them.
With her reputation down the drain for this, and the SNP’s current state, I’m feeling a return to Labour on this one. They held it in 2017, and it’s not a seat the Tories get a look-in on.
I want Tories to win but would be happy with Labour getting it.
SNP flops deserve to be wiped out. Humza who has failed upwards should then be gone. Yet I am worried Forbes who is very talented would become SNP leader and we would have a strong foe in her.
