I recently spent a week in Slovenia with my girlfriend and we spent our last day in Ljubljana. We didn’t have much time and we wanted to see as much of it as possible.

In order to maximize our time in the city we set ourselves some goals to help us get as much out of it as possible (e.g. walk 50,000 steps, visit the castle, eat Slovenian McDonalds, give a 1-minute history lesson about the city, and much more). We walked from the city center all the way to the Žale cemetery in the northeast, back to the castle and much much more. For only having a little over a day in Ljubljana, we learned a fair amount about it and we loved every bit of it!

One goal that we utterly failed on is finding Jupi orange soda. A Bosnian-American friend of mine imports Balkan products to the US and one of those is Jupi, an orange soda that I thought was Slovenian but apparently is now Croatian. I loved it every time I had it in the US so I was hoping to get some in Slovenia, but alas I did not find it, even at a Balkan products store in Ljubljana.. Do you guys know if this stuff is available in Slovenia or elsewhere in Europe (I live in Switzerland now so just wondering)?

If anyone is interested in seeing our adventure, we made a little video of it: [https://youtu.be/Dp4CjHiUdrA?si=Q02Hc8WRO5o8JjyM](https://youtu.be/Dp4CjHiUdrA?si=Q02Hc8WRO5o8JjyM)

I hope to be back to your great city someday 🙂 Hvala vam!
