What sort of scam is this? Is there any truth in what she is saying about insurance and stuff. I wanted to sell a sofa for 15 € on fb marketplace.

  1. Nothing but a scam. Stop engaging and block them. They probably want to send a “courier” to pick up the sofa. There is no courier, there is no insurance and all the money goes to the scammer.

The dpd site screams scam, very unprofessional, Gmail address etc. Also, there is no courier called “dpd” in finland

  2. I’ll be honest. The translation party garbage that “Ildikó” is writing is to garbled I can’t really tell what they’re trying to accomplish.

I’m thinking it might even be on purpose.

Best guess: “I’m buying your sofa, but I’m using this obscure transport company you’ve never heard of and paying you through them.

OH NO because you didn’t pay extra surprise fees, you have to reimburse the money that I totally already paid the transport company”.

  3. Scam no doubt.

Send them a dick pic, money shot…or whatever you’d like to give them an unexpected surprise. 😆

Upload it in some image hosting site, and write it as a receipt of transfer. In this way, you’re not exactly violating Facebook’s T&C should these scamming khunts get emotional and all and report your response

  4. I may be wrong but DPD is a Chinese delivery company that in the nordics, is operated by Postnord… are you selling the sofa in this exchange?
