*Russian drones attacked ports and grain storage areas in the Odesa region in southern Ukraine on Wednesday, the BBC reports . The port of Ismail, the largest Ukrainian port on the Danube, located about 15 kilometers in a straight line from the Romanian city of Tulcea, was hit.*
*Port Ismail, the largest port on the Danube in Ukraine, is located near the border between Romania and Ukraine.*
*The explosions that took place in the port, after Shahed was hit by Iranian drones, could be observed from Romania, according to several videos uploaded on the Twitter platform, recently relaunched X.*
**By me**: some videos are shown in the article
*A grain silo was damaged, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper, who gave no further details. The Ukrainian air force previously said the Russian drones were headed for Izmail, a key port on the Danube.*
*Russia has been targeting Ukraine’s ports since abandoning a major deal brokered by the UN and Turkey that allowed Kiev to export its grain. Governor Kiper said emergency services personnel were working at the scene of the latest Russian attack and that no casualties had been reported. He added that the Ukrainian military would provide additional information. Ukrainian regional chiefs do not provide details of the location of any targets struck without such authorization. Politician Oleksi Honcharenko, a member of Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s party, published a photo showing the damage caused by the attack on Izmail.*
*It is not the first Russian attack near Romanian territory. On July 24, the port of Reni , near Galați, was hit by a drone attack carried out by the Russians which resulted in the destruction of the grain storage infrastructure. A Romanian ship was then slightly damaged, and the attack was condemned by the Romanian authorities.*
That’s like 200 meters from NATO and EU border.
The grain is satanist bio weapon. Obviously.
On serious note, audacity of these terrorist is staggering. Especially with the news of their belarus henchmen helicopters “getting lost” on polish borders.
I live in Tulcea and I was wondering who the hell lights fireworks at 2 in the morning
I wonder if there will be any response from NATO if russian rockets “accidentally” fell on Romania
Now Russia knows that we have no air defense around Tulcea, great! Just great!
