It’s a wonderful thing to see UA soldier able to relax so they can concentrate on reading. Lowers stress and keeps the mind sharp. Boredom is something that happens in war, it’s not 24/7 shooting and there needs to be something for the brain to do in the meanwhile.

War is long periods of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror.
Can’t help but wish I knew what he was reading.
I love the idea of these brave defenders being able to enjoy a book, a nice meal, or any simple pleasure. Especially in winter, but even now.
Sometimes it’s the small things that make it tolerable.
