Hi, I ordered some stuff from public but some reason I didn’t get any receipts or calls from delivery guys etc. I did contact them at all costs but they don’t reply and this customer support takes ages. I don’t know what’s going on but they took my money away from my Revolut account. This is my first time using public but is it usual this way or sid t hey scammed my money?

    Maybe you put the wrong email address?

  2. Σιγά σιγά; I mean, it’s Cyprus, things are expected to take a while here. Public is a legit store, not some scamming scheme. And anyway you should be able to see the status of your order in your account. Check that your phone number and e-mail address are correct while you’re at it.

  3. Public sends their receipts via email. And if you are not a Greek Cypriot, they love to spell your name wrong even when you write it on a piece of paper for them.

    Fuck, I have a Cypriot name and they spelled THAT wrong!

  4. I once ordered something from their website and got a delivery confirmation with an estimated date of arrival. I know things usually take longer than stated, but 1 month after my order should have arrived, I went to the store and asked. Turns out my order was never even confirmed on their side because it was out of stock. I had just gotten an automated email.

    So my suggestion is: go to the store and ask about order and payment confirmation.

  5. If the store in 5 or 10 days will not claim the buy your money will be refunded
