” Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stepped in to call for restraint late Tuesday in an effort to end an escalating diplomatic spat with Ukrainian ally Poland. “

With these spats, the only winners are Russian trolls.
I don’t understand what is happening, they want money back? Or what?
All fed by ruzzian trolls. People need to see thru the bullshit.
We stand together. We stand with Ukraine.
It’s pretty sad that Zelensky, President of a country currently fighting a brutal war, under an unfathomable amount of pressure trying to stop a genocide against his country, is the person asking for cool heads while a politician in a safe country is whining like a child.
Another user commented on another post that it must be election season in Poland. I’m starting to think they’re right.
in French we say : c’est une tempête dans un verre d’eau. (it’s a storm in a teacup).
…In an interview with Polish media, Marcin Przydacz, head of Poland’s international policy office, said Kyiv should “start appreciating the role Poland has played for Ukraine in recent months and years”…
Mr Marcin Przydacz should start appreciating the role that Ukraine is playing in Poland’s security and stability. Those brave people are taking a savage power head on, so that he can sleep safely without having to worry about missiles falling on his house.
Slava Ukrainie!
Anyone looking for gratitude from Ukraine would want to take a long hard look at themselves. They’re paying in blood for *your* security ffs.
Sick of this shit. People saying stuff like this should be considered traitors, because at best they’re useful idiots for Russia, at worst something much more sinister.
READ the article! It explains the spat as an issue regarding agriculture bans from Poland which include soft fruits like raspberries which Ukraine wants to be able to sell. Ukraine was upset by the decision, a Polish representative said to “be more grateful”, Ukraine summoned the Polish ambassador to Kyiv which is a big black mark since it’s only done to yell at the ambassador. The Polish PM was upset by this.
Be prepared for Russia to amplify this news and make it seem worse than it is. Watch out for weird sources or rando’s on twitter. Take a lot of it with a grain of salt.
There is a Russian in the woodpile,
It’s about the grain corridor. Russia blocks Ukraine’ grain exports via sea ports. There was an agreement with neighbours and Poland to transit Ukrainian grains for export by trains via Poland. Problems started when price on grain in Poland fell , because dealers found a way to buy Ukrainian grain for resale (that is plentiful and much cheaper than EU one) Polish farmers started counting loses and went on strike.
So the agreement was reached with EU committee (don’t know the official name ) to temporary stop/limit the transit of Ukrainian grain till Sep 15th . So.. Poland and all other countries involved have time to prepare their markets for the competition with surplus of cheaper Ukrainian grain.
Well .. this year is the election year in Poland. Politicians are trying to give promises to protect their local farmers. BTW .. EU already paid said formers generous compensation for having to deal with falling prices on grain .
Ans now , Russians are destroying / bombing out Ukrainian sea ports , grain storage facilities.. at the very same time Poland want to close its borders for Ukrainian grain export .
Conspiracy theories exploded (would it benefit both Poland and Russia if Ukrainian agro-production is destroyed?!) , ruso-trolls have feast days .. some Polish politicians and up with “Ukraine should be more grateful for the help it’s receiving”
People need to all take a fucking chill pill and remember who the enemy is. This shit is pointless.
