Ripping off a bandaid is never nice, but still necessary for the wound to get better.

I’ll believe it when the tabloids report it.
No use of crying over spilled milk. British voters voted for Brexit, so now they have it.
EU will be better off without those crybabies ( or may we say that they were sort of US agents in EU?)
Any chance we can see this opinion poll.
We already know 48% of the public will never say Brexit was anything other than bad, so it’s the 52% you really are more interested in.
Even so, hopefully in the coming years the posts of Brexit become less frequent as no one cares.
Well, nobody knows what the future will be like. Because EU is a project in progress. But i reckon it is better to be within then out of it, for most of the member states
Exactly. My first thought was “Who are these psychopaths?” and then my second thought was “Actually, we know who they are”.
Ah, those brits
Bregret
Who would’ve thought?
“worse than expected” does not equal “bad” – this is a deceptive headline which doesn’t align with it’s own data.
Exiting an economic union is so complex as apparent from Brexit that imho requires years of laying down plans for all aspects of the economy.
Also informing the public about the realities of that move, trade deals will be hard and probably worse as a smaller market etc.
It’s been 1 year. Good God can we quit the endless hysteria! We won’t have a clear view of benefits or downsides for a number of years yet.
You dont say? Who could have expected this?
Serious problem hand over to ordinaries to make a decision
My theory has long been that the UK thought they would be negotiating much as they did when part of the EU and thus would be able to do side deals, get pushy, bluster, and generally get their own way.
Then when negotiations got going they realized they were negotiating as outsiders along with the EU not wanting to show that leaving is not a great idea.
I suspect the EU has their eyes on two other prizes: Scotland and potentially uniting Ireland.
