In my mind “shot up” would be a 30%+ price hike.
The constant increases in taxes on heating oil feels particularly sinister. Nobody is using heating oil for the craic.
Still 250 quid cheaper than this time last year
585£ in the BT34 area for 900 litres.
At least we have the turf.
