The god of the battlefield is artillery. The quality of the shells is as critical as the quantity. A badly made shell or a rusty relic can be as dangerous to the gunners as the enemy. For the Russian gunners – artillery Russian roulette.
I’d pay $5 to put a personal message to orc land
I saw no mention of ramping up production numbers just a change of ownership.
Radical thought. These are production > direct to front, i think that the green paint is pointless and only adds to production hours.
I’d use laser imprint to have it identified (which i believe is a legal obligation beyond just lot numbers, but i might be wrong) and just dip it up in oil. There’s oils these days that form a layer that protects the bare metal for months.
If that entire process is discarded, the production should speed up considerably, the paint has to dry, twice!
Right now, artillery is the most important war factor Ukraine has. It may seem that drones are (and they certainly have a heavy foot in the door) but it’s still down to interdiction of the enemy by good old metal rain.
