I don’t understand Michael Healy Raes point here It’s completely unrelated to the issue and he just sounds like an idiot trying to shoe horn in an admittedly very important issue. Conors pass is gorgeous and at €10m it’s a justifiable purchase for the state and it’s crucial to the identity and tourist experience of the area.
Why would anyone buy this, let alone for that price.. Surely you cannot get planning for anything in that area.. Sheep grazing is about it or is there something else?
The state should buy it and build a whitewater rafting facility on it.
