fun fact: after Prigozhin’s failed march to Moscow,Russian ruble **lost value even against the Turkish lira**
the march happened on 23-24 June
* on 22 June, 100 rubles were worth 30.75 liras
* now on 4-th of August 100 rubles are worth 28.9 liras
this is of course only an extreme event,but it shows how much of an impact political instability can have on exchange rate
