Normally I wouldn’t post the same video twice but this time we have a very different story to tell.
As most posters here know, Protect a Volunteer supports volunteers in Ukraine by matching them directly with sponsors to help them afford equipment, supplies, or cover some of their operating expenses. A large number of the volunteers we support are in the Chosen Company, which is a storm brigade in the Ukrainian Army.
Shortly after they released this video they suffered heavy casualties. 27 of them are injured and 2 are killed. For the volunteers we work with, many of them lost equipment and especially need to replace protective equipment that saved their lives. We still don’t know the full total of how many we work with who are injured (except that the number is high) or everything that needs to be replaced but it’s a lot.
Andrew Webber and Lance Lawrence were the 2 members killed and we send our condolences to their family and friends as well as their teammates.
How can you help?
1. Sign up to sponsor. Not all of the Chosen Company volunteers have been matched with sponsors yet and some are still waiting. You can match up with one and help them get equipped before they head out on their next mission.

A lot of them tried to book flights using their call signs and also when we call them that they agree that yes that name 100% fits.
