Meh, some people just moan and moan… as someone who likes my freedom I voted remain but I admit, you won, I’m “dealing with it” by using EU gates at airports with my EU passport. Stop moaning and start owning your decisions, Brexiters from the article.
It was all worth it to stop the boats and stick two fingers up to the French and Germans and get back our soverigntieeeee! /s
Will be asking my fave brexiter about this later!
Of course they will never accept it’s due to Brexit and will carry on blaming the French
>Paul, who voted for Brexit, believes the chaos at the port yesterday and today has been caused by ‘less than generous relations with the French’ after the UK left the EU.
After all we voted to take back control of ARE borders, the French have no right to take back control of THEYRE borders.
It’s interesting how people still turn up even though the same thing has been happening for a few years now. Must be some mindset where you think you can drive there and it will be ok because no one else will have thought of doing it. Something about the individual v the collective on the edge of my brain.

> He added: ‘This volume of people is normal for Dover – they’ve coped with it before – so something must be different. I can only think there’s a bit more formality now than there used to be. I suppose this has been the first big test for the Port of Dover since Brexit – because COVID stopped people travelling.’
“A bit more formality”? Really Paul, are you playing coy?
Edit: F’s sake. Trusting the Daily Mail to at least be able to date their damn articles correctly, the DM is was timely reporting on events in 2022. The London Economic is mixing reports together without proper attribution (As is the chair of @EuroMove).
Perhaps I’m still a child, but I just can’t imagine ever being called Mike Ballsworthy.
