One small detail, Bank of Cyprus absorbed Laiki and thus almost all of Laiki branches were shut down. Which makes sense and doesn’t look like some evil plot like the image suggests.

Meanwhile Revolut can do business with zero branches.

I only had issues with the banks in Cyprus; since I got Revolut, all problems have been resolved. From the process of creating an account to changing your address after you move, everything is a hassle. Not to mention the fees they charge when you want to transfer money abroad, the number of employees will only drop further if their service stays the same.
