This night, the SBU blew up one of the most powerful oil boats of the Russian Federation “SIG”, which transported fuel for the Russian troops.
According to sources in the SBU, it took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine.
The operation was carried out jointly with the Navy.

Rushits are never good with thingy that floats
Did this damage the bridge?
Nice work. I am curious to see the aftermath and also the possibly related bridge damage. I can’t wait for some daylight shots!
Fuck you tanker ship
This boat was sanctioned, used in Syria and a tool of the Russian war machine in case anyone tries to spin it otherwise.
Gonna need a bigger boat. LOL
Jaws theme FTW
Jagga jagga bitches!
I read reports that there was no oil on-board (and therefore no spillage), but it was actually carrying weapons funneled through Syria
Consider me in favor of continuous sea drone attacks in the foreseeable future
The drone’s strike caused fire that was seen from Crimea. The incident occurred at a distance of 32 miles from the Kerch Strait. The tanker stood at the anchorage. The crew is intact, several people have small cuts from broken glass.
Note: Sig is a Russian-flagged commercial tanker. He delivered aviation fuel from Crimea to Syria, for which he was included in the US sanctions list. It is not a civilian vessel, and falls under the ban of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the transportation of military cargo.
Probably not the time to ask, but what are the environmental consequences of blowing up an oil tanker? Its a moot point because it needed to be done but I’m still curious.
