If it’s tax money that’s paying for it, we should be allowed to watch.
Although it would be slightly funnier if the council just respossed it and then gave it to the Mary and her 3 kids from 3 different father’s.
It’s harsh but I’d welcome a programme of demolition or at least CPO without recompense. That pile could house a few refugees and the grounds look large enough for several mobile homes for local homeless.
No sympathy for them.
I can’t read the article but does it explain how this is still going on? Haven’t they already lost at least 1 appeal to the Supreme Court?
The only angle left is to seek public sympathy.

If the neighbours are ok with it, they should be allowed to keep it under the condition that they pay a fine of maybe 300k – enough to house a homeless family
How can they spend tax payer money making us undo a crime that we committed? It disgraceful Joe!
I agree, they should have to pay to demolish it.
You can’t just go and build a house, if we all did this how would the planning department get their power trip with nothing to hold up for months or years?
