There is a third option, you can drive to Hirsthals and take the ferry all the way to Bergen. That is probably the most relaxing, but the drive between Kristiansand and Bergen can be quite spectacular with a lot of beautiful fjords and mountains. I would choose one of those (given that the ferry between Hirsthals and Norway is not to expensive)
Depends what your goals are!
Definitely the one through Stavanger. I’ve done both routes and the way through Sweden is not bad, but it got boring fast. From Kristiansand to Bergen was very beautiful and felt quite fast
If you want scenery, take the train
(The scenery is fantastic on the Oslo-Bergen train & you can’t do the same route in a car.)
If you have to drive & time is of the essence, drive to Hirtshals & take the superspeed to Kristiansand & drive from there. The roads are better, there are less likely to be delays, and since you can rest on the ferry, you need fewer driving breaks, otherwise, so despite google, that is probably the faster route.
