I don’t think this policy is very popular with those who can’t afford a low emission car….
On my last visit to London, I paid the charge, then got it refunded two days later as they confirmed my Kodiak with a 1.4 litre petrol engine was exempt. Strange how the world changes, my last car this overall physical size, some years ago, needed a 3.5 litre V8 to move it! I accept this one is lighter and not four wheel drive though.
I find it very interesting that the ULEZ is getting civil disobedience against the cameras, but speed cameras don’t get a lot of people trying to disable them, nor congestion charge cameras.
Nor, in fact, the very many other official surveillance cameras.
No need to wreck them, anyway. Just put a plastic bag on them.
Oh god, this is going to turn into another anti-vaxx movement then.
