There’s a guy in “What We Do In The Shadows” who’s an energy vampire. I reckon that guy is one.
Apparently if the guy in Ontario gets 2 million he won’t be able to hear the noise anymore.
I used to live under the flightpath of an airport that had arrival/departure every 2 minutes passing at about 3000 feet on the way in and maybe a bit higher on the way out. After about 2 weeks of living there didn’t notice it AT ALL.
The only time I did notice it after that was during covid when all the flights were grounded – I was unsettled for a couple days until I realized that it was the lack of planes
