2. Very symbolic, despite the cost I think it’s long overdue!

3. Hopefully this is under SAM protection umbrella because I’m sure this will be Russian priority target #1.

   Is it supposed to actually just be a symbol representing a ukranian trident, or a phoenix as well? It looks a bit like a rising phoenix to me too….which would be quite fitting for Ukraine as the phoenix is a symbol of hope and rebirth, as a mythical bird that could regenerate itself from its own ashes after its death….so like, Ukrainians rebuilding and restoring their own country after the ashes of the war…

6. That’s going to be an improvement if ever I saw one. May I suggest keeping the old symbol in a pit surrounded by a low rail so that visitors can piss on it?

7. Seems strange to be spending money on this during war time. Especially considering that publicizing it likely just makes the monument a target for Russian aggression.

8. Near certainty that Russia is going to try to hit that with a missile. They should have waited until after the war.
