The g word I’m sure would get more votes than all the rest combined.
Tirkey getting overrun by non working migrants is indeed a serious problem. Public Budget is already tight
This is how Europe could fall into fascism: the #1 is the one.
This poll source probably founding by Erdogan , thats the data of palace not the streets
Is Greece among “Foreign Powers”? I feel we should have a separate category, all to ourselves! I don’t feel special like that! We are supposed to be mortal enemies, act like it! /s
I work at a hostel in Taksim / Istanbul for the summer. One of my German guests told that he got a haircut at 2 am, how different than Germany it is, that it is impossible in his country. I realised it was also impossible in Turkey a few years ago, after Taksim area flooded with Syrian refugees and Arab tourists most shops have adapted the Arabic lifestyle opening late afternoon and working until morning, sleeping during the day and going out in the evening, all the cool clubs and bars got closed, lgbt clubs got closed under pressure and many clubs started to employ working girls and started to play Arabic or low quality music. Government has 0 policy for refugees other than letting all of them in and sharing the bribe they got from EU among themselves. EU is full well aware of it but they don’t care as long as Turkey keep the refugees away from Europe. Contrary to the general European belief Turks and Arabs have completely different way of life, traditions and their understanding and practice of religion is quite different. So far refugees have no intention of adapting and they live as they were living in their own countries forming their own pockets (mostly in poverty) inside the cities, majority of their kids don’t go to school. Unemployment and acceptance of lower salaries among Turkish people skyrocketed as employers can exploit refugees for very low payments. Childhood sicknesses eradicated decades ago are on the rise, uncontrolled prostitution (government controlled prostitution is legal in Turkey) which they even exploit refugee children has skyrocketed and all types of STDs are on the rise. I had to calm down customers a few days ago after 15 refugee boys (btw 10-15 yrs old) passed from the street at 5 am shouting jihadist slogans. Those kids don’t have homes and don’t go to school and probably many of them are gonna form or be part of criminal organizations in a few years. Wildest nightmares of anti refugee right wing parties in Europe have become reality in my country and worst are on the horizon. People ask how left wing Turkish parties are anti immigration while right wing parties are pro refugee in Turkey. Right wing parties who are in power profit a lot from refugees and they serve islamisation of society while left wing parties are aware how uncontrolled immigration is ruining the country and it may lead to total economic collapse and civil war in the future. I think this is why majority of the Turkish people thinks irregular immigration is the biggest problem in the country.
Erdogan if he leaves the country
love how it’s 4 clearly wrong answers and “don’t know”
The greatest threat always comes from within
AK party, its supporters and Erdoğan are the real threats to Türkiye. But it’s like trying to convince Turkish “Trump” supporters that they ARE the problem!
As a contrast of Europe, in Turkey, Erdogan and AKP (Rightist party) supports irregular migration while the opponent CHP (center-left, secular), IYI (center-right, secular) and ZAFER (far-right, secular) parties are against it.
Only a very small percentage of that 43.6% votes for the far-rightists.
There is huge difference when we compare it to 10 years ago… Before the irregular migration Turkey was way more secular in all ways even though AKP was leading the country.
In society’s perspective Armenia or Greece is not a threat but the US, Russia and maybe the UK is. And also by PKK, it is also meant PYD in Northern Syria since it is seemed as a different branch of PKK.
