Looking for cat litter deodorizer with baking soda. In Canada we had the arm and hammer powder which is amazing at limiting smells. I find the deodorizers here are not effective compared to arm and hammer. Has anyone encountered this product here?

There are probably considerably cheaper ways to stop the smell, though.

  2. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate is very alkaline and as such can be very irritating to the skin of your cat’s butt and toe beans.

If you have a pet, you have to put up with some unpleasant smells from time to time. Clean your cat’s litter tray frequently, at least once a day, or whenever it’s particularly stinky. Generally speaking deodorizers are great for humans, but not great for cats.

If your cat’s poops are particularly stinky all the time, it may be poor diet. You should ask your vet for advice on that.
